Beishanwan Beach is located on the eastern part of the Dajiao Peninsula in Shantou City, south of the Haiwan Bridge, facing the sea with gentle mountains and flat seabed, surrounded by natural rocks. From a distance, the clear waters blend with the blue sky, and the sunset glows together with the Haiwan Bridge; up close, fishing boats dot the waters, flowers and trees are lush, and the green shade casts slanted shadows. It is an ideal place for people to return to nature and relieve the tension of urban life. The beach is likely the only one in the Eastern Guangdong area to use motorboats for life-saving.
