Zhonglou Park is located at the intersection of Wenxiu Road and Fengshan Middle Road, situated in the commercial area of Daliang, Shunde. The surrounding transportation is very convenient.
Winding corridors interweave through the garden, which can be considered one of the park’s features. Following the corridors, you can essentially reach every corner of the park. On both sides of the corridors are columns arranged one after another, made of blue and white interlaced bricks. Climbing plants cover the rubber boards on top of the corridors, with summer sunlight filtering through the gaps in the leaves, casting a starry pattern on the ground; or shining on the smooth bricks of the columns, making the entire column sparkle. The bell tower within the courtyard is a quaint Chinese-style small building with a blue-tiled roof and red walls, exuding an oriental charm from inside out. Holding onto the long staircase and climbing step by step, you will soon see a bronze-colored bell, which appears very worn and has several signs of wear from long-term use. Standing at the base of the wall, looking at the traffic passing below, it is hard to believe how perfectly this ancient building is integrated with the modern city.
