The Benxi Lake Industrial Heritage Cluster is located in Xihu District, Benxi City. It covers an area of approximately 100,000 square meters. The large industrial production processes and related facilities of modern coal mining, coal transportation, coal washing, coking, iron smelting, power generation, transportation, etc. are completely preserved. Its site was initially built in 1905 and was one of the two major steel bases in China described in Mr. Sun Yat-sen’s “The International Development of China”, that is, “There is Hanyeping in the south and Benxi Lake in the north”.
