Bijiang Jinlou is a library built by the Su family in Bijiang in early years. It is magnificent, noble and elegant. Many gold foils are used for inlay in the building, hence the name Jinlou. At that time, it was a symbol of status. Liu Yong, the prime minister famous for his thick ink calligraphy, and Wang Wenzhi, the number three scholar known for his light ink calligraphy in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, both visited here and exchanged views on music, chess, calligraphy and painting with the owner of Jinlou, and talked about romantic affairs.
