The Ice World Skating Rink is an indoor real ice skating rink of Southeast Asian Olympic standards, located in the large shopping center Mixc City. As one of China’s one-stop shopping centers, Mixc City has entered five major cities in China, namely Shenzhen (opened to the public in 2005), Hangzhou (opened in May 2010), Shenyang (opened in May 2011), Chengdu (opened in 2012), and Nanning (opened in September 2012). In each Mixc City with hundreds of thousands of square meters, you can always find a real ice skating rink with better facilities and international standards. Among the five projects, the Hangzhou Ice World Skating Rink is relatively large-scale and is located on the fourth floor of Mixc City in Qianjiang New Town. Developed by China Resources Sun Hung Kai Properties (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. and planned by Callison Architecture Firm from Seattle, USA. The total area of the Hangzhou skating rink is about 4,200 square meters, of which the ice surface area is 1,800 square meters. Figure skating, speed skating and other ice entertainment activities can be held. The skating rink provides public skating activities, establishes a skating school and conducts internationally certified skating level examinations. While promoting and popularizing ice sports, it will also become the cradle for cultivating China’s future ice athletes. All the hardware facilities of the skating rink come from project suppliers at an international level. They have had a lot of experience in preparing skating rinks in the United States, Indonesia, Dubai, and other cities in China. The refrigeration system uses the Canadian brand CIMCO. It is a refrigeration system supplier for skating rinks. It has participated in the construction of more than 4,000 skating rinks around the world. Nearly 18,000 meters of pipelines are laid under our ice surface. The temperature of the entire ice surface can be continuously controlled at about minus 14 degrees throughout the year, providing skaters with good ice surface conditions. But the temperature on the ice can be maintained at 18-20 degrees all year round. Whether in the hot summer or the cold winter, it will provide a comfortable and pleasant environment for skaters on the field. Since real ice sports are new to Hangzhou, in order to ensure that customers can fully enjoy the fun of skating on real ice, we also hope that you can abide by the order of the skating rink. For safety reasons, if you are a beginner skater, it is recommended that you wear knee pads, wrist guards, helmets and other protective gear when skating or enroll in skating courses and receive formal training.
Opening hours are from 10:30 to 22:00 from Monday to Saturday and from 12:30 to 22:00 on Sunday. Supplementary notes on preferential policies: 1. The above information is for reference only.
