It is understood that the Binxing Pavilion was originally built in the sixth year of the Daoguang Emperor during the Qing Dynasty, funded by the gentry from various villages of Guishan (now Huiyang), specifically for sponsoring local scholars to participate in the imperial examinations. After its completion, the Binxing Pavilion made a positive contribution to the revitalization of local education and the cultivation of talents, and also greatly promoted the traditional imperial examinations.
Later, based on historical documents and archaeological surveys, the pavilion was restored to its original appearance, and exhibitions were arranged around the culture of the imperial examinations. Opening hours are all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-18:00; closed all day on Mondays. Specific business status is subject to the actual opening conditions on the day.Binxing Pavilion
