The Binzhou Underwater World is located in Beihai Park, Bincheng District, Binzhou City, Shandong Province. The total land area of the scenic spot is 66,000 square meters, and the building area of the venue is 17,000 square meters. The scenic spots include more than ten exhibition areas such as shell ridges, tropical rainforests, mermaid theaters, underwater tunnels, ocean fairy tale paradises, dream starry sky halls, our Bohai Sea, snowfield tribes, sea lions and seals, and sardine tunnels. The total water volume of the venue is nearly 6,000 tons. The water body maintains a constant temperature all year round. More than 500 kinds of native marine animals and plants have been introduced. There are seven categories of national first- and second-class protected animals such as dolphins, green sea turtles, seals, and small-clawed otters in the exhibition hall, as well as more than 500 species such as rusty sharks, whitefin sharks, giant groupers, pearl rays, and soaring lionfish, totaling more than 5,000. The scenic spot takes various tourism products such as sightseeing, interactive experience, and popular science education as themes.
