Situated in the Qiancheng and Houcheng villages of Hengshan Township, Changxing County, at the northern foot of the main peak of Mount Bian, lies the Biyan Scenic Area. Biyan, at an elevation of over 300 meters, gets its name from the layered and steep rocks that resemble mossy rust when viewed from a distance.
Starting from the half-mile pavilion on the north slope, one ascends Biyan along a stone path, passing through bamboo trails, and by Yu Xie Tan and Qi Xing Tai. The steep and towering mountains on both sides display grotesque rocks, among which one can enjoy views of the Xianglu Peak, Parrot Stone, and Bai Jing Tai.
Upon reaching Biyan, one must visit the three wonders: Zhu Lian Water, Waterfall Spring, and Longkou. Above Biyan stands the Biyan Temple, overlooking the vast expanse of Taihu Lake. Adjacent to the rock, there are two Waterfall Springs.
Opening hours are subject to the daily operational status.
