Jointly created by Poly Culture and MGM, the Poly MGM Museum in Macao will officially open on November 2nd. The inaugural exhibition, titled ‘Blue Ribbon – Exploring the Mysterious Seas and Encountering Silk Road Treasures,’ is themed around the ‘Maritime Silk Road.’ It will guide audiences from around the world on a journey to explore the past, present, and future of the Maritime Silk Road. The ‘Blue Ribbon’ exhibition is guided by the China Cultural Relics Exchange Center and Poly Group, with a joint curatorial team of experts from China, Italy, and France. It features 184 sets and 228 pieces of cultural relics and artworks, including artifacts related to the Maritime Silk Road, silk fabrics, spices, and various rare treasures. The exhibition emphasizes both cultural relics and contemporary art, combining international curatorial concepts with technological presentation methods to achieve an organic integration of academic, intellectual, artistic, entertaining, and interactive elements. The exhibition will be open from November 2nd to September 30th, with specific operating hours subject to daily availability.
