Bodhi Zen Monastery is a significant temple located in Taipa, featuring an impressive statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, cast in bronze with a serene and dignified demeanor, his left hand resting and right hand raised in a gesture of teaching.
Adjacent to the temple, a Thai-style four-faced Buddha statue graces the gardens. The monastery covers a vast area, encompassing the Mahavira Hall and several other halls, as well as vegetable fields and a dining hall.
The dining hall is open to the public during meal times, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy vegetarian cuisine. The monastery is open year-round from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with specific operating hours subject to daily conditions.
