The current site of Beidi Temple is located on the Fanba Ridge in the central area of Dasiwei Town. It was relocated and built in the late Qing Dynasty and has been repaired many times. The temple faces south with two buildings in front and back. On both sides of the gate are eight solemn and majestic vajra gods. In the main hall at the back, the plaque reads ‘Yuxu Palace’. Inside, the Arctic Xuantian God (referred to as Beidi or Zhenwu Emperor) is enshrined. On both sides of the main god, a total of seventeen gods including Guanyin, Wenchang, Guan Yu, Yue Fei, Huaguang, and Han Yu are enshrined. The gods are tall, majestic, and lifelike. The incense at Beidi Temple is always prosperous. Especially during the Spring Festival and Double Ninth Festival every year, pilgrims from all over the country and even Southeast Asia come to climb the mountain and worship Beidi. The specific business hours and opening status are subject to the opening situation on that day.
