Butterfly Bay Park is located at the intersection of Taixing Road and Kangding Road along the Suzhou River in Jing’an District. It has created a new urban waterfront landscape full of artistic sense. The ecological green space – Butterfly Bay Green Space has a construction area of about 15,000 square meters. On the front of the green space square on one side of the road, a stone array falling pool is built.
On the west side is an array pool. The negative ions generated by the flowing circulation of the stacked waterfall water purify the surrounding air. The pool extends northward with two sections of arc-shaped artistic landscape walls, which cleverly hide the ground facilities of the drainage pumping station. Along the side of the Suzhou River are hydrophilic platforms and corridor frames. Plants such as bamboo forests, tall magnolias, Washington palms, beech trees, and ginkgo trees are dotted among them. The rich plants, landscape walls, trusses, corridor frames, stacked waterfalls, and hydrophilic platforms in the green space form changes of movement and stillness, light and shadow, and contrast between virtual and real, becoming a landmark scenic spot along the Suzhou River.Opening hours: Open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
