Cadillac Center, formerly known as Wukesong Gymnasium, is the venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympic basketball events. It is located at the northeast corner of Wukesong Bridge on the West Fourth Ring Road, adjacent to Wukesong Station on Line 1 of the subway, and consists of the competition level (where the field is located), the first floor, the box level, and the third floor, with a capacity for 18,000 spectators.
Designed by HOK Architects, the exterior wall of the building is composed of more than 21,000 golden aluminum panels, which are arranged in a staggered pattern, giving the impression of lifelike rhythm when viewed from afar. Cadillac Center is an advanced professional basketball arena in China, with all 18,000 seats being soft-packaged chairs and an advanced display system. The venue is highly versatile in design, capable of hosting various sports events such as basketball, ice hockey, badminton, and volleyball, as well as concerts, exhibitions, and stage performances. The venue is open year-round from 08:30 to 16:00.Cadillac Center
