The Cai’s Ancestral Hall was built in the 16th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. The existing main building was rebuilt in the ninth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty. A women’s ancestral hall was newly built on the south side of the ancestral hall, thus forming a unique architectural form of a combined ancestral hall for men and women.
