Introduction: The Xidi · Cambrian Stone Forest Scenic Area is located 13 kilometers southeast of Yixian County, just 5 kilometers away from the World Cultural Heritage site of Xidi. It is a unique geological and natural landscape in Yixian, with a stone forest distribution area of 32 hectares (480 acres). The Cambrian Stone Forest is geologically known as karst topography, consisting of countless strange peaks and rocks, resembling a giant dragon from a distance. The rocks in the stone forest are characterized by their ‘slender, wrinkled, leaking, and transparent’ features, which are highly aesthetically pleasing.
