Celebrity Square in Shaoxing is located south of the Second Ring South Road, next to the Tianjing Bridge (at the intersection of Jiefang South Road and Second Ring South Road). It is a park established to commemorate the famous people from Shaoxing, primarily featuring sculptures of these notable figures. The square fully displays the profound cultural heritage of Shaoxing’s five-thousand-year history and the continuous emergence of talented individuals from the ‘Land of Scholars’. Particularly impressive is the ‘Group of Celebrity Sculptures’, which depicts 11 prominent figures from the Yue region, including Yu the Great, Goujian, Ma Zhen, Wang Xizhi, and Lu You.
