The Cen Family’s Ancestral Memorial Garden is located in Meilán District, Haikou City. Cen Lin lived in Qiong for over 30 years and passed away in the first year of the Yuan Dynasty’s Huangqing era (1312 AD), and was buried at Songpo on the eastern shore of Qiongshan. The tomb of Cen Lin is situated to the east of Paidian Village. Today, Songpo is now a place with many buildings, and the Cen Family’s cemetery is nestled between residential houses and school campuses. After renovation, it has become the magnificent and imposing ‘Cen Family’s Ancestral Memorial Garden,’ which serves as the joint burial tomb for the ancestral couple Cen Lin and his wife, as well as the second ancestral couple Cen Yuanfu and his wife.
