The Central District is located in the Central and Western District of Hong Kong. It is the political and commercial center of Hong Kong. Many banks, multinational financial institutions and foreign consulates are located here. The headquarters of the Hong Kong government, the Legislative Council Building, and the former Government House (now known as the Government House) are also located here. The landscape of Central District is a mixture of old buildings and modern high-tech buildings.

Old buildings such as the Legislative Council Building and modern buildings such as the Bank of China Tower and IFC have become iconic attractions in Hong Kong, constituting a beautiful and spectacular urban skyline of Hong Kong Island. Central District develops from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. Many streets need to climb slopes or stairs, such as Pottinger Street. There is also Gas Lamp Street, which has appeared countless times in TVB dramas.

The well-known attraction here is Victoria Peak, and there is also the famous covered escalator – the Central-Mid-Levels Escalator. In addition, Lan Kwai Fong, a good place for Hong Kong’s nightlife, is also located in a short, narrow, L-shaped alley paved with cobblestones between Wyndham Street and D’Aguilar Street in Central District. Central District gathers many large shopping malls. The Landmark, Alexandra House, Chater House and Prince’s Building form a well-known shopping circle.

There are also countless well-known restaurants. In addition to many well-known Michelin-starred restaurants, Kau Kee Beef Brisket, Lan Fong Yuen, Yung Kee Restaurant and Lin Heung Tea House are all delicious and recommended. They are also very popular, so be prepared to line up.
