The courtyard at No. 31 Qushuiting Street is known as the ‘Centuries-Old Courtyard’, with its ancient buildings dating back two to three hundred years. The passage of time has endowed it with a sense of historical gravity.

The courtyard is a typical Siheyuan (courtyard house), with a plaque hanging on the main gate that reads ‘Centuries-Old Courtyard’. On the wall, there is an inscribed stone tablet, the inscriptions of which have become blurred over the years, but it can still be discerned that it records the story of local merchants pooling funds to repair the water alleys during the late Qing Dynasty.
