Ceramics are an integral part of the excellent traditional Chinese culture and hold an important position in the history of world material civilization. China is renowned as the country of ceramics, and porcelain is a significant cultural symbol for the world to understand China and for China to engage with the world. The development of Chinese porcelain has a history of nearly three thousand years. By the Qing Dynasty, the level of porcelain making reached its peak, with the achievements of the official kilns during the reigns of Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong being unparalleled, characterized by fine body texture, regular shapes, a variety of categories, and distinctive era features and artistic styles. The Liaoning Provincial Museum boasts a comprehensive collection of Qing Dynasty official kiln porcelain, with a rich variety of shapes. This exhibition selects fine works of Qing Dynasty Jingdezhen imperial kiln porcelain from the Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong periods, including blue and white porcelain, overglaze-colored porcelain, and colored glaze porcelain, to showcase the elegance of the Qing Dynasty official kiln porcelain. The exhibition is open from October 25th to February 23rd, with specific business status subject to the daily opening conditions.
