Changchun Palace is one of the six western palaces in the inner court of the Forbidden City. It was completed in 1420, the 18th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty. It was originally named Changchun Palace. In 1535, the 14th year of Jiajing, it was renamed Yongning Palace. In 1615, the 43rd year of Wanli, it was renamed Changchun Palace.
