Changdao Scenic Area is located on the Nanbei Changshan Island in Penglai District, Shandong Province, covering a total area of 5 square kilometers. Its unique geographical location and geological history of hundreds of millions of years have created abundant tourism resources in Changdao. Here, you can enjoy the blue sky, clear sea, clean beaches, strange reefs, lush forests, and steep cliffs, with a picturesque scenery. It has been known as the ‘Fairy Mountain on the Sea’ since ancient times. The natural landscape of the island, mainly characterized by marine erosion and accumulation landforms, and the biological landscape of the island, mainly featuring seals, seagulls, migratory birds, and others, hold high ornamental and scientific value. The area is open all year round from 08:30 to 16:30, with the Linhai Scenic Area ceasing entry at 15:30 all year round.
