Changdi Square is a historical commercial district and historical block in Jiangmen City. The shops here are almost exclusively characterized by the Lingnan-style ‘Qilou’ architectural complex, rich in cultural atmosphere and connotation.
The architectural style of Changdi Square combines Chinese and Western elements, with hundreds of Qilou buildings each with its own characteristics. During its heyday, commerce, entertainment, and logistics thrived, leading to a highly prosperous period, earning it the nickname ‘Little Guangzhou.’ It is also one of the well-preserved historical and cultural districts in Guangdong Province and even in China, with distinct overseas Chinese features. The street houses Jiangmen International Youth Hostel, high-end bars, cafes, and tourist shopping stores. In 2001, with the completion of the renovation and improvement project, Changdi Square presented itself to the public with a fresh look, becoming a highlight of Jiangmen’s urban construction and a market area with a strong overseas Chinese cultural characteristic in the city center. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.Changdi Square
