Changyu-Castel Wine Chateau, a joint venture between Chinese wine giant Changyu and French wine giant Castel, is located on the golden tourism line from Yantai to Penglai. The chateau covers an area of 2,100 acres, including 500 acres of wine-making vineyards, 50 acres of main buildings, and 20 acres of grape corridors and roads.
Yantai Changyu-Castel Wine Chateau is an integrated tourist attraction, sightseeing, and leisure destination, becoming another tourist spot in Yantai City. It is also the base for the production of Changyu’s high-quality wines. Furthermore, it is an important place for the introduction and selection of excellent grape varieties from home and abroad, as well as for conducting related cultivation technology research.
