Chao Yuan, the former residence of Shi Hao, is located in Haishu District, Ningbo City. According to historical records, Shi Hao, a native of Mingzhou (Ningbo, Zhejiang), was one of the prime ministers among the ‘three prime ministers of one family’ in the Southern Song Dynasty. Emperor Xiaozong of the Song Dynasty praised Shi Hao’s act of being loyal to the country and gave the imperial winery located by the Moon Lake in Mingzhou to Shi Hao, and renovated it into ‘Shoulefu’ for Shi Hao to live in peace. Opening hours: Open from 09:00 to 23:00 on Mondays and Sundays throughout the year.
