The golf course is magnificent, with an investment of three hundred million yuan and covers an area of approximately 2400 acres. The first eighteen holes are the first in China to fully adopt American-grown eagle grass as the green grass for an eighteen-hole seventy-two standard golf course. The world-renowned golf course designer, Pearson Golf Design from the United States, was commissioned to plan and design the course at a high standard, taking into account the unique local topography and water features. The course complies with USGA standards and was honored with a nomination for the top ten golf courses in China in 2004. It is open all year round from 06:30 to 18:00.
