Chaoyang Temple, also known as Fushan Temple, Chaoyang Temple, Chaoyang Hermitage, and Quansheng Temple, is located on the south slope of Fushan Mountain. It was established during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. The hermitage was constructed by Huang Zuofu, a scholar of the Ming Dynasty, as his secluded place for reading and studying. In the second year of the Republic of China, Zeng Mingben, who followed Prince Su, took refuge in Qingdao. Initially, he became a monk at the Quansheng Temple on Furong Mountain, and later purchased the temple property of Chaoyang Temple on Fushan Mountain, transforming the hermitage into a Taoist temple and renaming it Quansheng Temple.
