Yanshou Palace is situated at the southern foot of Longjingding in Chashan Scenic Area, Rongcheng City, and was constructed during the Jin Dynasty with a three-section temple-style structure. It faces a deep valley in front and backs onto Yunguang Cave, offering a very beautiful scenery, described as ‘suspended couch under the clouds and trees, and windows close to the stars’. Being here gives one the feeling of entering a blessed land and a magical cavern. Unfortunately, the simple and elegant Yanshou Palace was destroyed by war, leaving only broken steles and tablets for people to reminisce. In 1991, the People’s Government of Rongcheng conducted a restoration of the Yanshou Palace temple complex. The statues inside the palace are exquisitely carved and lifelike. Every year, a large number of tourists come here to visit and worship, making the incense very prosperous. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
