Chayuan Keng is located on both sides of Xiaoxikeng, a tributary of Yantan Creek in the upper reaches of Nanxi River. It has a unique landscape of mountains, waters and countryside with the description of ‘Surrounded by mountains and waters and facing mountains again. Half is people’s homes and half is pastoral scenery’. It is characteristic among mountain villages in the upper reaches of Nanxi River.
