Located in the southeast of Shixing County, the Cheba Ling National Nature Reserve covers an area of over 75 square kilometers and is renowned for its undeveloped, pristine natural resources. The reserve boasts extensive, dense, and towering secondary forests, and its biological resources are incredibly diverse. It is known as a “treasure trove of species” and the “Pearl of the Nanling” in Shaoguan. In recent years, guided by ecological economics theory, the reserve has preserved its original ecological features and has been gradually developed into a forest landscape tourist destination, tailored to local conditions and targeted efforts. The newly established natural museum within the reserve exhibits a vast collection of rare flora and fauna specimens. Outdoor activities such as rafting and camping are also being perfected, and the reserve is attracting an increasing number of tourists with its unique charm. Opening hours are from 8:00 to 17:30, with specific business hours subject to the public announcement at the scenic spot.
