Chen Dao Memorial Hall is located in Fucheng Town, Leizhou City. Chen Dao, who was a successful candidate in the imperial examination during the 33rd year of Kangxi’s reign in the Qing Dynasty, served as the governor of Gutian in Fujian and the inspector of Hunan, among other positions. Throughout his life, he was known for his integrity, uprightness, and dedication to the welfare of the people.
A statue of him stands majestically at the main entrance of the memorial hall, exuding an air of solemnity and righteousness.
The memorial hall is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-12:00 and 15:00-17:30; it is closed all day on Mondays. Please note that the specific business hours are subject to the daily opening status.
