Chengdu University Road is an east-west oriented street with a width of approximately 20 meters and a total length of over 800 meters, featuring a dual carriageway.
Lining both sides of the road, there are two rows of 116 plane trees, earning the street its name due to its proximity to the former West China Union University (now known as the West China Campus of Sichuan University).

The ground floors along both sides of the street are occupied by street-facing shops, primarily consisting of restaurants, small supermarkets, and retail stores.

To the north of the road, one can find the New Meteorological Hotel, School of Information Engineering, Huaxi Dormitory Area, University Kindergarten, Parasitological Research Institute, and Longjiang Road Primary School.

To the south lies the West China Campus of Sichuan University, where one can observe the West China Office Building, North School Gate, Old Library, and Ning Village Dormitory Area.

Notably, the West China Office Building and the University History Exhibition Hall on the south side were both listed as cultural relics of Chengdu City in 2001.

Opening hours and business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
