Chenghuang Temple is located on the west side outside the old city. It was first established in the second year of the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty (1369), making it 634 years old to date. Subsequent additions and reconstructions have been made throughout various dynasties. The original temple covers an area of 2500 square meters, with a construction area of 1069.8 square meters. It features two main halls, a front hall with six bays, two wing rooms to the east and west in front of the halls, and a main entrance to the south, totaling 11 rooms in the halls and 37 rooms in the side buildings. After liberation, the statues were removed, but the halls and side buildings still stand. In 1986, it was converted into the Jiaozhou City Museum. It is open all year round, with full-day access.
