Chengshantou Cableway, also known as Motianling Cableway, is located within the scenic area of Chengshantou in Rongcheng, Weihai City, Shandong Province, and is one of the cableways that span across the sea in Asia. The cableway is divided into a north and south loop, allowing passengers to glide between the coastal peaks, experiencing the sensation of floating in the clouds, while also enjoying the beautiful views of the azure sea. The cable cars operate smoothly and at a leisurely pace; it is recommended to choose the north route, which offers views of both the mountains and the sea, especially enchanting during sunset. Additionally, Chengshantou is the easternmost point of the Chinese mainland extending into the ocean and was historically referred to as ‘The End of Heaven’. Known as ‘China’s Cape of Good Hope’, it is a renowned National AAAA-level scenic spot. Open all year round from 08:30 to 16:00.
