Chimelong Bird Paradise is another large-scale theme park meticulously crafted by Chimelong Tourism, home to over ten thousand rare birds from various countries including Red-crowned Cranes, Flamingos, Black Swans, Crowned Cranes, and White-faced Spoonbills. The park is divided into nine distinct areas: Crocodiles Dancing, Crane Bay, Amphibian and Reptile Pavilion, Expansion Area, Amazing Melon and Fruit Area, Swan Bay, Pelican Bay, Nocturnal Pavilion, and the Scarlet Ibis Exhibition Area.
Crane Bay, located to the left of the entrance of Chimelong Bird Paradise, is home to various wetland birds such as Red-crowned Cranes, Black-necked Cranes, and Flamingos, making it a paradise for various avian species. Among the water plants, flocks of cranes can be seen foraging by the water or playing in the streams, creating a spectacular scene.
The Scarlet Ibis Exhibition Area is situated next to the rainforest square pool at the entrance of the park, inhabited by a group of red-dressed dancers, the American Scarlet Ibises. The exhibition also features feeding spots where you can get up close and personal with them.
Pelican Bay is one of the larger and more significant pelican habitats in South China, featuring a unique bird-watching walkway that offers visitors a fresh perspective for bird-watching and photography. Here, you can not only observe the natural state of the pelicans but also interact with them at zero distance, marveling at their magical beak and impressive fishing skills.
