Chimelong Wild Animal World is founded on animal conservation and breeding, featuring large populations of rare animals as its special attraction, gathering over 500 species and more than 20,000 rare animals from around the world. It is home to the giant panda triplets Mengmeng, ShuaiShuai, and KuuKuu; and a koala population that has been bred up to the seventh generation. The park is imbued with the philosophy of animal protection, with informative animal knowledge signs, three large science lecture halls, and 13 science stations, conducting various themed science education activities throughout the year, and offering a series of study courses that combine explanations with animal displays, allowing every visitor to personally feel the importance of protecting animals and the ecological environment. Additionally, Chimelong Wild Animal World hosts major themed events such as World Wildlife Day, Bird-Loving Week, and Wildlife Promotion Month, and carries out nature education and wild animal and plant knowledge into school activities, forming a complementary science education and propaganda system both inside and outside the park.
