One of the main venues of the Jinhua International Camellia Festival, China Camellia Cultural Park is located in the southwest of the urban area. Its predecessor is Dahuangshan Park. After careful construction, the originally desolate ‘Dahuangshan’ has become today’s remarkable ‘camellia garden’. Covering an area of more than 350 mu, China Camellia Cultural Park is a tourist attraction with camellia culture as the theme, integrating landscapes, gardens, flowers, architecture, exhibitions and so on. All the scenic spots in the scenic area are named after the names or verses of camellia. The cultural connotation is profound. The whole park is divided into five scenic areas: Huafoding, Songzishan, Huaheling, Xuetashan and water activity area. Hundreds of varieties of camellia, camellia sasanqua and more than 20,000 camellia species are planted in the park. The shadow of ‘camellia’ is everywhere. Opening hours: 08:00 – 18:00 from January 1st to December 31st.
