The China International Import Expo is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, and undertaken by the China International Import Expo Bureau and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. It includes sections such as the National Comprehensive Exhibition, Enterprise Business Exhibition, Hongqiao International Economic Forum, professional supporting activities and cultural exchange activities. In accordance with the general requirement of ‘holding better and better’, the quality of the expo continues to improve, and its international influence is more extensive. It promotes the connection between China and the world market, the integration of industries, the promotion of innovation, and the connection of rules. Relying on the advantages of China’s large market, it gives play to the functions of an international procurement, investment promotion, cultural exchange, and open cooperation platform. It has become a window for China to build a new development pattern, a platform for promoting high-level opening up, and an international public product shared globally. It has made positive contributions to accelerating the construction of a new development pattern and promoting world economic development and has won extensive praise at home and abroad. The first expo was held in 2018. By 2023, the sixth expo had been held. The seventh China International Import Expo was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from November 5 to 10, 2024. Opening hours: November 5 – November 10, open all day.
