Qinshan Nuclear Power Science and Technology Museum features 13 exhibition halls including ‘The Path of China’s Nuclear Power’, ‘Nuclear Safety and Environmental Protection’, and ‘Harmonious Nuclear Home’. The exterior of the museum, known as the ‘Energy Gem’, symbolizes nuclear energy as a clean, safe, and highly efficient source of power.
Key architectural features inside the museum include an indoor LED spherical screen, a main model of a nuclear voltage water reactor, and a large multimedia sand table titled ‘Harmonious Nuclear Home’. The first floor showcases the development of China’s nuclear power, the second floor displays the principles of nuclear power and safety culture, and the third floor exhibits the basic principles and foundational knowledge of nuclear energy.
