The Polar Science Museum, covering an area of over 800 square meters, consists of the Antarctic Exhibition Room, Arctic Exhibition Room, Video Playback Room, Souvenir Room, Computer Consultation Room, Polar Plaza, and Philatelic Service Department.
It primarily showcases an overview of polar geographical environments, the history and major achievements of China’s polar expeditions. The museum houses more than 300 valuable photographs, 36 polar specimens across 3 categories, 26 polar expedition equipment items across 4 categories, and 328 souvenirs across 5 categories.
