China Resources Shimei Bay Jiuli Tourism Resort is located on the southeast coast of Wanning City, Hainan Province, covering a total development area of about 700,000 square meters. It is composed of two crescent-shaped bays and features a six-kilometer stretch of azure waters and silver beaches. Along the bay, there is a dense belt of green skin forests that stretches for tens of kilometers. This is the second and largest beach green skin forest discovered in the world, protected by a monument since the Qing Dynasty, with a history of at least 4,000 years.
It is now listed as a provincial nature reserve. The area boasts the only island in China with private property rights owned by a developer, Jia Jing Island. The waters surrounding the island are rich in coral reefs, a variety of marine life, and colorful tropical fish, making it a haven of natural resources.
