The Root Carving Buddhist Kingdom covers an area of 12,000 square meters, with three main halls extending inward. The first hall is a double-layered structure, while the second and third halls are single-layered. Additionally, the Arhat Cultural Corridor is built along the mountains, encircling the area, and includes the Future Buddha Hall, the Mahavira Hall, and the Arhat Hall, among others. It displays over one thousand large-scale root carving artworks of Buddhist cultural series, such as Sakyamuni, the Future Buddha, the Four Great Bodhisattvas, and the Five Hundred Arhats.

Among them, the larger root carving of Sakyamuni, the main Buddha, is massive in form and constructed from valuable root materials, which were transported through the China-Myanmar border with great effort and transformed into a majestic Buddha by the ‘Drunk Root’. The Five Hundred Arhat Array is particularly magnificent, stretching over 680 meters in length, with a layout that is both thick and elegant, and can be considered a unique treasure of China.

The site is open all year round from 8:30 to 17:30. Essential tips for visitors: Elderly and underage children must be accompanied by family members during their visit.
