China Tianyu Village

Fangshan Township Longxian Village is a distinctive village in Qingtian County, known for its rich Tianyu (field fish) culture. It is primarily focused on leisure tourism involving the breeding and consumption of field fish, hence the name Tianyu Village. With a history of over 600 years of rice field fish farming in China, Longxian Village is epitomized by the saying: ‘With water and field fish, with home and overseas Chinese; farming without ox ropes, mosquito-free all year round.’
The village is surrounded by mountains on three sides and has a basin-like topography, transitioning to a gentle slope towards Qiyun Mountain. It boasts beautiful scenery, with terraced fields and a picturesque landscape. This small village is rich in attractions and cultural relics. The lush green Qiyun Mountain, the romantic Lovers’ Pine and Mandarin Duck Pond, and the exquisitely designed traditional Yanling Old Home are all delightful aspects of Tianyu Village. The village is open all year round, with full-day access.
