The China Tobacco Museum is a national and specialized museum. Currently, it has opened eight exhibition halls, including ‘The History of Tobacco’, ‘Tobacco Management’, ‘Tobacco Culture’, ‘Tobacco Agriculture’, ‘Tobacco Trade and Economy’, ‘Tobacco Industry’, ‘Smoking and Tobacco Control’, and ‘New Century Hall’. Through a wealth of precious cultural relics, documents, models, scenes, lifelike wax figures, photographs, multimedia, and other forms, it comprehensively presents the origins and characteristics of various stages of development in China’s tobacco industry.

Visitors can learn about the development and changes in China’s tobacco industry, agriculture, and trade, as well as the patriotic historical materials about Chinese cigarette workers’ valiant struggles against domestic and foreign reactionary forces. The Tobacco Culture Hall displays various ethnic smoking customs, smoking utensils, cigarette labels, and pictures. The museum is open year-round from Tuesday to Saturday, 09:00 to 16:00; it is closed on Mondays and Sundays, except for legal holidays, with specific business hours subject to the day’s opening status.
