The China Wetland Museum is located in the southeast of the Xixi National Wetland Park in Hangzhou, and is a specialized museum themed around wetlands. Visitors can explore the mysteries of wetlands, appreciate their beauty, and understand the issues and threats they face, as well as the achievements China has made in wetland conservation. The exhibition is mainly divided into four parts: the Prologue Hall, the Wetlands and Humanity Hall, the China Hall, and the Xixi Hall. Additionally, there is a science popularization center outdoor space, visitor lobby, atrium, and thematic exhibition hall. Specifically, the Wetlands and Humanity Hall and the Science Popularization Center are located on the first basement level of the museum; the outdoor space, Prologue Hall, visitor lobby, atrium, and China Hall are on the first floor; the Xixi Hall is on the second floor; and the thematic exhibition hall is on the third floor. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 to 16:30 all year round; it is closed all day on Mondays, except on public holidays.
