China Yinshan Cultural Tourism Area, located in Jinlong Village, Miaomen Town, Changning City, Hengyang City, is known for its unique and colorful cultural resources and mountain scenery, making it a popular tourist destination within the province. It is an important leisure travel destination for Hengyang City and Hunan Province, themed around Yinshan cultural experience, geological sightseeing, and rural leisure, including attractions such as Yinshan, Zhongtian Ancient Residences, Caishen Cave, Haiyi Bay, and Shi Ma Scenic Area.
China Yinshan encompasses the ‘One Peak and Three Cities’, which are the City of Chinese Celebrity Seals, City of Chinese Calligraphy, and City of Chinese Commemorative Seals. It includes seals of ancient and modern celebrities, as well as seals with inscriptions of famous sayings and shapes from various dynasties, along with calligraphy stone carvings. Arranged chronologically by dynasties, from pre-Qin to modern times, it gathers over 4,800 seals of various shapes. The mountain engraves thousands of years of Chinese seal patterns on the rocks, integrating cultural landscapes with natural ones.

Caishen Cave, known as an ‘underground art treasure,’ is situated in the heart of the ‘Changgui Hundred Miles Gallery,’ with a total length of over 1,000 meters. It features attractions such as Caishen Welcoming Guests, Caishen Gathering, Caishen Guiding the Way, Azure Dragon Protecting the Pearl, Jade Suspended Tower, Treasure Basin, Fairy Bridge of Yaochi, Eight Immortals Seeking Treasures, Dragon Boat Gift, Gold Washing for the Needy, Caishen Bestowing Treasures, Ingot Farewell, and Turtle Wishing Longevity. The cave, a typical karst landscape, includes various vivid forms of stalagmites, stalactites, stone curtains, and stalactites, earning it the reputation of an ‘enlarged fairy mountain, reduced bonsai.’

Zhongtian Ancient Residences, occupying the core of the entire Miaomen Town tourism area, cover an area of about 256 acres and were originally built in the second year of the Yongle era (1402 AD). It has been over 600 years and is a well-preserved and large-scale complex of Ming and Qing dynasty buildings in Hengyang City and Hunan Province. Despite centuries of erosion, it still retains more than 100 old houses, over 200 courtyards, 108 alleys, and a construction area of 14,000 square meters. The residences have the architectural features of Jiangnan houses and a unique artistic style.

The Miaomen Folk Culture Leisure Area, with Zhongtian Ancient Village and Miaomen Town as the core, serves as the main attraction of the scenic area with Zhongtian Folk Village and provides the core tourism service function with relatively complete and centralized service facilities. It has been successively awarded as a ‘Provincial Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit’ and ‘Provincial Historical and Cultural Village.
