From the dream of setting foot on the moon to the vision of inhabiting Mars, humanity has always looked to the stars, aspiring to soar through the vast universe. China is progressively realizing its space exploration dreams, having successfully developed artificial satellites, carrier rockets, manned spacecraft, and space stations, as well as conducting missions and scientific research in space, expanding our understanding of Earth and the cosmos.
From the legendary Jade Rabbit pounding medicine on the moon to China’s lunar exploration program’s ‘Yutu’ rover that stepped onto the moon; from the ancient mythological fire god Zhurong to the ‘Zhurong’ Mars rover that successfully left its mark on the surface of Mars—China is gradually achieving its deep-space exploration dreams while also building the future. The exhibition introduces the significant achievements and future prospects of China’s lunar and Mars exploration missions. Visitors can appreciate the full-scale models of the ‘Yutu’ lunar rover and ‘Zhurong’ Mars rover, understanding their structure and functions, and recognizing the remarkable achievements of China’s space development. Open from September 27th to March 24th, performance times and durations are subject to the venue’s schedule.China’s Lunar and Mars Explorations
