The Chongqing Anti-Japanese War Relics Museum, also known as the Chongqing Huangshan Anti-Japanese War Site Group, is located in the Nanshan Scenic Area of Nan’an District, Chongqing City. It stands as a testament to the wartime capital and heroic spirit of Chongqing. The museum currently houses 15 historical sites, all of which are official-style buildings constructed during the Republic of China period, featuring a typical blend of Chinese and Western architectural styles with a strong mountainous character.
The scenic area spans over 18.67 hectares, with more than 90% green space, ancient towering trees, winding paths, lush tranquility, and a simple yet elegant atmosphere. From the highest point at an altitude of 580 meters – the Wangjiang Pavilion, visitors can overlook the confluence of the two rivers, showcasing the beauty of Chongqing’s landscape.
Opening hours are from 09:00 to 18:00 from March 5th to October 15th; and from 09:00 to 17:30 from October 16th to March 4th. Please note that specific business hours are subject to the day’s opening status.
