Chongqing BoLian SPA Hot Spring is located within the Beiquan Hot Spring, which has a history of 1600 years, and is built adjacent to the Jialing River, nestled in a forest with river views. Beiquan is one of the birthplaces of Chinese hot spring culture, carrying more than a thousand years of hot spring and celebrity culture. Throughout history, countless celebrities and literati have lingered here, leaving behind a rich scholarly atmosphere and timeless tales that are still sung today.

BoLian, following the principles of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements, has laid out, constructed, and maintained 26 distinctive open-air garden hot spring pools surrounded by mountain streams, bird songs, and floral fragrances. Here, hot springs, geography, and legends are combined to vividly interpret a leisurely way of life centered on health preservation, and the process of soaking in the hot springs is extended into an exploration of the thousand-year-old Beiquan Hot Spring.

BoLian SPA Hot Spring absorbs the essence of mountains and rivers, integrates the nourishment of volcanic stones, and gathers the essence of natural flowers and plants, presenting a lush and tranquil environment. The ancient temple next to the wall, with its morning bells and evening drums, complements the serene Buddha statues and stone walls within the garden, fully showcasing the combination of Eastern health culture and Buddhist Zen culture, traditional hot spring bathing culture, and global SPA culture.

Next to the ancient temple and by the quiet plants, one can find enlightenment and relief, making peace and tranquility within reach. Beiquan, the premier hot spring in Chongqing, has ten springs. The water of Beiquan is colorless, with a turbidity of less than 1, a specific gravity of 1.0024, and a bitter taste, classified as a sulfurous calcium and magnesium, low-osmotic, neutral warm spring. It also contains small amounts of potassium, sodium, chlorine, and trace elements such as iron, fluorine, nitrogen, zinc, lithium, strontium, vanadium, and radioactive radon.

The total outflow of the spring is between 4764-8636 tons per day. The full opening hours are: Monday-Friday 13:00-21:00; Saturday-Sunday 11:00-21:00; New Year’s Day, Spring Festival 11:00-21:00.
