Chongqing Hong’en Temple Children’s Park officially opened on Children’s Day in 2011, with free admission for both children and adults.
As the first dedicated children’s park in Chongqing and the first in the western region, the park covers a total area of approximately 160 acres with a construction area of 13,000 square meters, accommodating about 2,500 visitors with a green space ratio of 70%. It is designed for children aged 5 to 7 years old to play in. The park is divided into a North and South area. The North area features an outdoor children’s swimming pool and wading pool, ecological wetland area, magical forest, children’s climbing and trampoline activity area, as well as amusement rides such as carousels and forest hunting, suitable for children aged 1 to 6. The South area includes a growth-themed square, an indoor children’s experience city, a comprehensive ball sports field, and children’s real CS games, catering to children aged 6 to 14. The park boasts over 1,500 species of plants, allowing children to experience nature while playing.
